Millions of Americans live with this debilitating disease. It affects every area of their lives, and if left unchecked can result in Nancy Pelosi-ish physical deformities like wild-eyes and flaring nostrils, or even worse, like a burning need to live the San Fransicko Gay lifestyle.
If you or someone you know shows any of the warning signs below please act quickly…they could be a carrier of liberalism and may be at risk of developing a full-blown case of Leftitis. You should immediately confine that individual to a small room in which you have tuned a radio to News/Talk 1530 KFBK, a TV to Fox News and in which you have provided reading material such as the Weekly Standard and the Washington Times and call Mark Williams at your first opportunity.

The warning signs of advanced liberalism
1. You believe that AIDS is spread by a lack of government funding
2. You believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex
3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding American Citizens are more of a threat than nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Allah
4. You have to believe that there was no art before government funding
5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical, documented changes in the Earth's climate, and more effected by Republicans in SUV's
6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is normal
7. You have to be against capital punishment but in favor of unrestricted abortion on demand
8. You have to believe that business creates oppression and that government creates prosperity
9. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it
10. You have to believe that the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution but that the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution
11. You have to believe that taxes are too low but ATM fees are too high
12. You have to believe that Gloria Steinem and Jessie Jackson are more important to American History than Thomas Jefferson or Thomas Edison
13. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist but racial quotas and set asides are not
14. You have to believe that the only reason that socialism has not worked anywhere that it has been tried is because the right people have not been in charge
15. You have to believe that minorities, especially blacks and Spanish speaking brown people, are inferior and incapable of individual advancement without government intervention
16. You have to believe that preaching "alternative lifestyles" from the front of the class is good but the Pledge of Allegiance "Under God" is bad
17. You must believe that savage acts of terror are the moral equivalent of political discourse and/or appropriate response to America's "crimes"; and that to defend America against an attacker is "aggression" because the attack is our fault inasmuch as we are (A) leaders of, or (B) patsies of the international Jewish-Zionist-Halliburton conspiracy and if only those pesky Jews (and Dick Cheney) would stop picking on those poor terrorists and just quietly go to the showers then everything would be okay.
18. You must believe in using the power of government to steal from the productive in order to give to the parasitical, and that there is no distinction between true need and greed.
19. You must believe that Constitutional Rights apply only when you consider their application appropriate and that in the end you know best what the great unwashed masses should think and do

1AM Saturday 4/23: Packed and jazzed to go. Holly, Casey the Pound Dog and I are catching the Jet Blue Red Eye out of SMF to IAD late tonight. We arrive at around 7:00 AM tomorrow. Sandy Carter has arranged for a Town Car to collect us and deliver us to our Capitol Hill hotel to freshen up in time to start working. Today is just cleaning the house and getting things set up for the house sitter who we hired to look in on Chinook the Black Cat and making sure that we have all of the contact numbers and information we need to link up with everyone upon arrival.
Roger Hedgecock, Melanie Morgan and we are all staying at the same hotel and will be meeting early to plan a little side-trip to meet with a key player in holding up the appointment of Mr. Bolton to the UN, and see if we can't kick that roadblock loose. If the democrats, and RINOs win this one then we are in trouble come Supreme Court appointment time.
I also have remarks to prepare. I am one of the primary speakers at a major rally in front of the White House first thing Monday morning and we expect serious network TV coverage.

You have to believe that free speech does not apply when it is used to criticize liberal and leftist politicians, especially during an election campaign.
You have to believe that Ward Churchill is actually a greater statesman, author, painter and teacher than Winston Churchill.
