If there were no government at all there would be pharmacies there always have been under different guises. Someone will see a product the people want. The irony here is that the government precludes people from freely buying a product and then sets demands on the sellers that are, in their eyes. immoral. The people you want to control everything from whether you can get drug x to whether you have to sell that drug are the problem.
The people you want to control everything from whether you can get drug x to whether you have to sell that drug are the problem.
correction:
The people WHO want to...
The people who [you] want to control everything from whether you can get drug x to whether you have to sell that drug are the problem.

Yeah I tend toward your position. I am not sure why the government should control so many substances whether for medical purposes or not. I was merely pointing out what I viewed as a little hypocracy on this. If you are willing to make your money selling what the government controls and we know that control may create economic rents, then you have less room to complain if the government says you then must sell all of the substances they control. But I personally favor less government intrusion in this and most areas.
