Hi Ohio, thanks for the dose tonight. I've been seeing so many of them "the next day" that I feel out of touch! Everyone who contributes their time for this is just great! I look forward to the dose every day.

Now that's funny.....second hand car salesman! hadn't thought of that before but now that you've said it, I'll never be able to look at him any other way! LOL

A frequent lurker, I rarely post on these threads, but this deep blue-purple suit top looks just like a nursing blouse I used to have. Great color on the First Lady (as most jewel tones are), but the cut is a little weird. Or is it just me?

I know there are so many wonderful things about California, (like wine!) but man, it must be tough at times! I was just watching Terminator II with my kids and said, "Look, it's the Gubernatorial buns!"

Funny that you should mention her mood improving.

She just gave me a hug and apologized for being 'snippy' a while ago.

I told her she had every right to be 'snippy' (she has a giant hunk of metal sticking out of her arm, a big scar on her forearm, and a very painful and gruesome looking hip, for goodness' sake!) and that she was doing great..........which is the truth.

The girl's a fighter. She'll be fine.

I want to sue the pants off the kid who did this to her, though, but he has no money, so he's getting off with only higher insurance payments.

Comes under the category of "life's not fair."

The image of him with 41 and 43 only exaggerates the chasm of integrity even more. And he's so shallow and egocentric, that it probably doesn't even dawn on him what grace and respect is being extended by these two classy men .. (that being said, W plays chess ;).

Nah, it's just meant to go with a skirt. She changed it for the pants to go see the kids.

Not too much.

Been getting into trouble on frivolous threads.

Like the '24' thread last nite and

taking up for smokers. I'm not a smoker, but the DP is and I have a very soft spot for smokers and don't want to see them sent to Mars, although I often threaten the DP that this is his fate.

Sorry for that. The creep who totalled my car never got anything. Mostly because he didn't have anything and knew how to work the system. And he didn't even have insurance (or a license).

I have also found that some pain medications (especially Vicodin) tend to make people a tad grumpy too. Or at the very least mood shifts.

I must have missed how this happened.....I'm guessing car accident?

I think the Lord has other plans for Slick, MUD. Frankly, I'm not sure he's going to be around in 2009......

And I really believe the only thing the Bushes' graciousness does, is show that they are far better men than he. Nothing can rehabilitate this mess of a human being except repentance and forgiveness from God...

Then one of them is General Lesley Groves. I just haven't figured out for sure which one, none of them really look like his pictures. I don't think any of them are Oppenheimer, because I believe he was probably dead by the time Nixon became President. So I'm still working on it.

It's kind of weird to visit the Dose when no one's around, isn't it?

Sort of like......"hellooooo??? anybody here???"

It's MUCH more fun when there's some action! :o)

Yes, I don't think Clinton even has a hint of how insignificant he looks now. Just looked silly at the presser today with GHWB.
