This morning President Bush delivered a powerful and inspiring foreign policy speech at the National Defense University at Fort Lesley J. McNair, regarding the emerging freedom in the Middle East and the overall War on Terror. He also greeted Czech Republic President Vaclav Klause in the Oval Office, discussing regional security and dipolomatic issues.
First Lady Laura Bush, accompanied by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, spoke today at a conference to mark International Women's Day at the State Department, meeting in round table discussions with leaders of 15 Muslim nations to urge women in the Middle East to push for democracy in the region.
This afternoon, President Bush met with former Presidents Bush and Clinton in the Oval Office, welcoming them back from their good will mission to the tsunami victims, and the ex Presidents gave a report on what was accomplished. Laura also spoke at the Helping America's Youth initiative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this afternoon. A busy day for our First Couple!
President Bush's strong foreign policy is resulting in the stirring of freedom in the hearts of people around the world, so it's a good time to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your Daily Dose, and your trip to Sanity Island!
Timing - it's everything!
Thanks so much. You should see her dance! Although her heart is in the right place, she's not as coordinated as she thinks she is. Hubby and I cry with laughter every time she starts...
I have never seen that one. I don't know if the camera just captured a momentary thing, but Kate looks very uncertain about the whole scene in that photo.
Is that Grace and Elizabeth? I can't make that smaller child look like Grace at all. It does look like Elizabeth.
Hey, everyone. Does anyone know where to get a schedule of President Bush's cross-country tour? I'm anxious to find out if he's coming anywhere close.
That brings back such memories. My kids thought they could sing! (SHH...they still can't hit a note!)
Which is why I wish I could have posted the pic myself!
Okay, name those faces - not Nixon, he's easy!
Still praying for your daughter. Sounds like no fun.
Thanks for the pics, I always enjoy them.
Will not stay 'round long tonight, I am exhausted after a hard day on the job.
Give us a clue. Are they scientists or politicians?
Just helping dad to bed be back for 10 mins or so in a mo
Clues already? Okay, not politicians.
I'll never be convinced that this is a good thing...Clinton needs to be shunned by all good decent people, and instead, Dubyuh and his father are refurbishing Slick Willie's lagging legitimacy. Don't these folks realize they are aiding and abbetting Slick's planned return to the White House in January 2009?!
SHEEEEESH...MUD
Take good care!
I have no idea. Two faces look like I should know them. Two, however don't. I think I'm out of this one.
I don't think so. By showing their respect for the Presidential office, the Bushes are showing their superior sense of fairness, kindness, wisdom, strength, and position.
G'night. Kiss that cutie!
How many decades are we going back???? LOL
Good night, sleep tight. (Cocoa sounds yummy.)
