This morning President Bush delivered a powerful and inspiring foreign policy speech at the National Defense University at Fort Lesley J. McNair, regarding the emerging freedom in the Middle East and the overall War on Terror. He also greeted Czech Republic President Vaclav Klause in the Oval Office, discussing regional security and dipolomatic issues.
First Lady Laura Bush, accompanied by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, spoke today at a conference to mark International Women's Day at the State Department, meeting in round table discussions with leaders of 15 Muslim nations to urge women in the Middle East to push for democracy in the region.
This afternoon, President Bush met with former Presidents Bush and Clinton in the Oval Office, welcoming them back from their good will mission to the tsunami victims, and the ex Presidents gave a report on what was accomplished. Laura also spoke at the Helping America's Youth initiative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this afternoon. A busy day for our First Couple!
President Bush's strong foreign policy is resulting in the stirring of freedom in the hearts of people around the world, so it's a good time to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your Daily Dose, and your trip to Sanity Island!

He can't change, but the Lord can change him.
That's what I'm praying for.

I synopsized daughter's progress in post 100. She's healing well, but is VERY frustrated.........which is not surprising.
We're praying for her to get off the pain meds sooner rather than later so she can focus better........and DRIVE.

Birthday party, eh? That explains the wine!
Here's a cute Easter picture of Manya taken yesterday, if you all don't mind a proud mom bragging...
I tried to get her to give up the blankey, but no chance!
Ohio, so glad to hear your daughter is doing well - she's something else! How are you holding up?

Maybe. I just heard it, but didn't hear yesterday on Hannity. I thought he did a nice job.
He made it clear that Democrats aren't going to be allowed to block voting on judicial nominations. Yay! His answer on immigration sounded like politician-speak to me.

Very brave little girl.Thanks...I think she'd do anything I asked if she can hold on to her blanket. Hubby tells me he was the same way as a child.
She is a good girl :)

Sean also mentioned something about barn storming tour of the country I assume he is going to promote the President's Social Security Reforms - hopefully we will get some pics.
I also thought it was a good interview thought he had a smile over the Rather question.

OH!!! She's ADORABLE!! Blanky pictures are the BEST! :o)
I'm doing fine........thanks for asking!
I have been amazingly tired through this ordeal. It hurts to have your baby hurting, and it wears you out!
I actually looked at her arm tonight, and it is SOOOOOOOo weird! This contraption is WAY worse looking than the one I posted last week. She looks like the bionic woman!
