"A new species of crocodile which lived 40 million years ago has been discovered in tropical Australia"
The First line is itself a fact of history

You know that is pure supposition on the part of the 'scientist's'

Here's the one I like:
Sarcosuchus imperator
This thing could eat modern salt water crocodiles like Scooby snacks. 40 feet long, and 10 tons! Holy cow!

And after 40 millions years, their croc is still a '
CROCK'.
Their NEXT 'find' will be a croc with wheels?

At least scientists make "some" effort at avoiding self-deception. Creationists make none. They dive in to deception "whole hog".
And if some or other individual scientist or group DOES succeed in such self-deception, eventually the very scientific process itself assures that such deceptions will be discovered and corrected.

"Homonymic misspellings are on the rise these days. It is a sign of declining educational standards." The baseless belief in fantasies like evolution is an even better sign of the decline. The alligator is one of the strongest proofs of the fantasy. It fits in well with the Inca paintings of triceratops, and the mosaic of leviathan in the 2200 year old synagogue outside Jerusalem.
I used to feel sorry for these people; now I'm coming to enjoy laughing at them.

"Expectancy leads to self-deception and self-deception leads to the propensity to be deceived by others." And this is the well demonstrated principle that makes con-men wealthy, and greedy dreamers poor.

"Does ever single science discussion have to be a creation/evolution debate with 5000 posts ?" Nothing that has the religion of evolution fantasy at it's center can be legitimately called a 'science' discussion.

"The First line is itself a fact of history" No, the first line is a 'setup' in a structure of propaganda.

The great scientific hoaxes, such as the Beringer case and the Piltdown man discussed in this chapterChapter? Have you written a book?
