He's partly right. That's why Jim Robinson is cleaning out the immigration threads.
FR goes through these cycles. After the 1998 elections, there were a lot of Birchers and conspiracy types flocking here (there were actually threads on jet contrails as the government trying to poison American citizens).
Now that Bush has been re-elected, we've seen a flood of newbies commenting on immigration. Some of these folks have nefarious backgrounds, or are retreads Jim's kicked off before.
But he's wrong that FR is primarily fringers. In fact, the kooks don't tend to last very long, as Jim and the mods learn who they are pretty quickly.
If he really said that, then he's turning into a pompous @ss. I think his radio show is lame. This guy that comes every friggin day named "marti" is a joke and i'll turn the radio off immediately when i hear his voice. the guy sounds like some "down and outer" skid row bum who never has anything important to say. In fact his rants are senile.
Hannity, garners allot of support from us here, but if this is his opinion then I'm saying he's just turned the corner, (like O'Reilly did last year) and is going to lose some audience.
