Franken to Announce Senate Run Decision
Air America radio talk show host Al Franken says he will announce on his prgram today whether he will run for Senator Mark Dayton's seat next year. Franken had been considering a run for the US Senate in 2008
when Republican Norm Coleman is up for re-election.
But now that Dayton has annouced that he will not run for re-election, Franken is considering whether to run for that seat next year. In an interview on a Twin Cities radio station Thursday, Franken would not reveal his decision.
But the comedian and talk show host think that he would be able to handle the fundraising needed for a campaign. Dayton cited the need for constant fundraising as a reason for his decision not to run again.

Anyone think he has the guts?
My eyes!!
I'd love to see a campaign destroy Franken's delusions of adequacy.
Al Franken Resume:
Professional fool
Former? coke addict
The end.
Well, I guess his current job isn't working out.
Oh man, this is going to be good! Do it Al, please..
Run Al, Run.
See Al run.
See Al lose.
On the plus side if he runs then it gets him off the air for the next two years.
Two words for Al:
Ha Ha
When he loses in 2006, he'll run again in 2008.
Why would he be drawing this out for 3 hours if he isn't going to do it?
Nope.
That's the funniest line he's ever come up with as a comedian.
To get more people to tune in, that's all.
The SOB was never funny until this.
Doesn't he have to stop broadcasting when he files for FCC exploratory contributions?
Just further proof that there is no line between the media and the Democrat party. Individuals drift from one to the other without even a second thought.
