Thanks for posting the CBS letter.

But can we take them at their word that they will introduce and enforce all these new standards?

Or is this letter just window-dressing?

My personal feeling is that it is window dressing. A full and total housecleaning would actually benefit CBS, though.

Imagine a scramble for some conservative-leaning journos? I think Moonves is licking his chops to revamp this department with "entertainment value".... stuff that sells.

Very interesting. He basically thanks them for not finding that CBS was politically motivated or that the documents were in fact forgeries. I'm surprised he would put that in writing.

BTW, CBS, where's the retraction?

If C-BS had an once of real integrity they would do a one hour special Sunday night 60 Minutes, in which they disected their original story and the attempted coverup, allowing those who helped expose the fraud air time to get the REAL story about this on the network. The family of Col Killian, the experts who TOLD them the documents were probably fakes from the getgo, Barne's daughter about what a lying SOB he was, and of course the hero FREEPERS who were instrumental in the Pajamahadin insurrection Buckhead, Tanker KC and Howlin.
