If I didn't think I would kill myself with fewer than 4 tires on the road as I travel, I would buy a Harley today!
Abbreviated-Hooligans-Ping-From-The-Office PING
Smart move.
Harley Davidson is about Class obviously....
Excellent gesture.
(PS, I got a bigger "cam" for my evo from Santa.) Neener neener!!
Riceboy!
Put in Andrews 44G in my 2003 FXST..... Goes really fast...yup yup
those evil corporations at work,
he he
Flag waving, evil corporations!! :-) LOL!
PING!!! Hey Billie, I thought you would like this.
Andrews 44G - great duration, stock lift! Great bolt ins!
No 211's ??? :-(
We in the riding community have our squables about brand an all, but HD has ALWAYS BEEN pro military. Back in the 80's when stationed in Germany they had excellent deals on bike for GI's.
Remember to BUY AMERICAN.
Perhaps when I go to 95 I will upgrade. At the time I just wanted to be rid of chain tensioners. Lots of problems people are having with them. I had a vacation coming up and wanted to go a simple as possible to head for the coast. Which I did. My Harley mechanic said it was a real good upgrade for the money without having to mess with springs and heads. Rejetted and SE air. Lost about 10 mpg. But worth it.
Now, I have a clean DD214 (and I'll sign DD180), so if you'd like to throw me a sweetheart deal to trade in my Softail on a 2005, I wouldn't complain too much....
Way to go HD! I sense a Sportster in my future ...
Good advice! :-)
When you're ready to play with the springs and valves, just go with SE heads. It's like bolt on magic! They can handle most anything you throw at em. Not sure if you can or want to go up to a .610 lift, but able! :-)
(PS: I'm an Evo guy, one cam at a time) :-)
A clean DD214 ?? LOL! Blank?
:-)
< liberal logic > but, but, but how can this be ? all corporations are evil!" < /liberal logic >
My first thought when reading the title was that Harley was going to supply a free trailer with every new bike. ;-)
