If I didn't think I would kill myself with fewer than 4 tires on the road as I travel, I would buy a Harley today!

Harley has done something really good here. I am glad to see corporations stepping up and realizing the sacrifices made by our brave men and women in harms way!

PING!!! Hey Billie, I thought you would like this.

We in the riding community have our squables about brand an all, but HD has ALWAYS BEEN pro military. Back in the 80's when stationed in Germany they had excellent deals on bike for GI's.
Remember to BUY AMERICAN.

Perhaps when I go to 95 I will upgrade. At the time I just wanted to be rid of chain tensioners. Lots of problems people are having with them. I had a vacation coming up and wanted to go a simple as possible to head for the coast. Which I did. My Harley mechanic said it was a real good upgrade for the money without having to mess with springs and heads. Rejetted and SE air. Lost about 10 mpg. But worth it.

The thing that strikes me about this program is that it helps their current customers. It's not a gimmick to sell a few more bikes. It only helps military members who have already bought bikes. Excellent job Harley!!

Now, I have a clean DD214 (and I'll sign DD180), so if you'd like to throw me a sweetheart deal to trade in my Softail on a 2005, I wouldn't complain too much....

Good advice! :-)

When you're ready to play with the springs and valves, just go with SE heads. It's like bolt on magic! They can handle most anything you throw at em. Not sure if you can or want to go up to a .610 lift, but able! :-)

(PS: I'm an Evo guy, one cam at a time) :-)

haha! Yeah, I guess a blank one would be clean wouldn't it?
It's funny, before J eFfin K came along, I never would have thought of a 214 as anything but just that. Now, subconsciously I guess I always qualify that its not full of holes like some peoples are.... Things that make you go "Kerry was a treasonous @#$%^&*"

My first thought when reading the title was that Harley was going to supply a free trailer with every new bike. ;-)
