Alaska, Hawaii, and California have a tsunami alert system (air raid siren type of things). We need one for the East coast also, although 21st century technology needs to be used. This would include TV, Radio, and Internet warnings, as well as messages of warning sent to all cell phones in affected areas.
Where the hell do we go in Florida? I guess we would not have time to get to Georgia or Alabama- we are all in the flat lands and only 2 1/2 hours across from ocean to ocean - eek!
Ok,let's look at this realistically. For on ething a tidal wave ( I like that name berter) doesn't just travel in one direction but fans out in a circle much as if you would throw a rock into a pond and watch the circles spread out, so a wave coming to America would also hit not only the US but down in Mexico and all of south and central America and it would also travel towards other countries. So why does this idiot say it will only wipe out the east coast of US? BBC is the one breaking this story. You guys can worry about it if you want, I will live my life not holding my breath waiting for this highly dubias event to happen. Natural disasters always have happened and always will, so get grey hairs if you want over this, I'll pass thanks.
