I apoligize. I opened my mouth without looking into the facts. I knew when I said it that it might be wrong. I just took a chance because of all the trouble muslims are causing in Africa.

Ethiopia has been battling Islam since the 8th century -- I kinda think they know how to handle themselves. Of course it doesn't help when we support the Eritreans against them.

Here in a later post another freeper "says Eritreans dont deserve our support" so I am confused. I would use google and study the issue but things change so fast in Africa and if the muslims are not killing people today they will be tomorrow.

Oh, I'm confused as well, but I do know that "Africa" is too big a place to be judged as a whole entity. North Africa -- north of the Sahara is more related to the Mediterranean and Middle East. East Africa is again related to the middle east (with Ethiopia standing on its own).

Sub-Saharan Africa I lump into one group (Though it would be really divided further I suppose) which I consider nearly god-forsaken land
