More revisionist bulls**t from the halls of liberal academia. If these morons told me the sun was shining I'd look out the window to make sure. You believe whatever you want, I'll do the same.

Ah, no "revisionism" here at all. The fact is, you can conduct studies of the herd breeding patterns and the sustainability of the land and figure out that with MINIMAL hunting the herds would disappear without human replenishment.

Sounds like you believe the idiotic "eco-friendly" Indian story. Been educated in too many public schools. Why is it the Whitman family (missionaries) recorded Indians "box burning," where they set fire to four corners of a valley and torched entire herds? Or where did the name "Brule" Sioux come from? Revisionsists? (It means, "Burnt Thigh," for their practice of torching the prariries). Have you ever heard of a "buffalo jump?" A Sioux warrior would get in a bison skin and lure/panic a herd into following him over a cliff---but the Sioux always had a ledge they landed on. More than a few white settlers commented on the HUNDREDS of carcasses in the river valleys.

It's not "revisionism" to read the diaries of the trappers and settlers who crossed the plains and could smell the rotting carcases from miles away---all before Buffalo Bill. You are welcome to fantasy, but the truth is the Indians would have decimated the herds sooner or later, and it was ONLY white capitalists who figured out there was money to be made in saving the bison. I DARE you: check out where the bison herd for Yellowstone came from. It was not "natural." It was purchased/donated from private stocks.
