MOSCOW, Nov 2 (AFP) - Vladimir Putin and Silvio Berlusconi, close allies and unabashed backers of President George W. Bush, get together late Tuesday in Russia where they will watch the US vote unfold and prepare a Russia-Italy summit.
Berlusconi was scheduled to go to Putin's country residence shortly after his arrival in Moscow and a source close to the Kremlin said the two men would "certainly" take a look at US election reports during their informal talks.

Whoa now. Putin is more of an "accepting international partner" if you ask me...
I won't want to talk to the Italians if Kerry wins.
The Italian newspapers are all "tut-tutting" about the evil Cheney and Halliburton. Good Heaven! Can't they get a life?
Vlad the Impailer was of course not a Slav but a Romanian.
Vlad the Impaler was a Rumanian, but the ones he impaled were from the Ottoman Empire (ie: Muslims). A good enough model for Vladimir Putin.

Great things are happening all over the world because of George W. Bush, my friends!
Meanwhile ... a lost and lonely Tony Blair makes several aimless shots about the snooker table, gives a heavy sigh and pretends to read a book while Cherie dolls herself up for an evening at her favorite restauranteur's along with some of her yoga classmates and maybe an appearance by everyone's favorite Mum, the Necromancer.
Sounds like Putin had a reality check after the school massacre.
No. Russia was fighting al-Qaeda since Clinton. America woke up after 9/11.
Our next vacation is Russia...maybe Italy.
Stoli vodka on the rocks...for the victory.
Putin is not our friend. Just my opinion.
The Italian people don't like Bush, but the Italian leader does. My guess is the Italian media is in bed with European media, and feeding the public all kinds of nonsense.
We share that common goal, but not much else.
That's a good point. Just so long as he doesn't muddy our water.
