GOP calls election observer partisan (Rendell appointments former Kerry adviser)

HARRISBURG - Republican officials yesterday accused the Rendell administration of partisan politics for appointing a major Democratic fund-raiser and noted critic of President Bush to help run the state's new election oversight efforts.

Philadelphia lawyer Mark Aronchick has raised $100,000 for Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, until recently advised the campaign on election law matters, and earlier this year accused President Bush of having a "contemptible pseudosincerity."

Aronchick resigned from all legal representation of the Kerry-Edwards campaign on Sept. 22

Aronchick resigned from the Kerry campaign less than a month ago after having raised $100K for Kerry and bashing Bush? Yep, he sounds non-partisan to me Gov! Just tell me where to send my union payments and when to drink the kool-aide, OK?????

It is all part of it. I wrote the following weeks ago. It is an over view of what will happen election day.. and shortly after.

***Why the Democrats don't care about the polls or debates...

I believe the voting an voter registration frauds attempts are deliberate and we will see more.. I believe the voting an voter registration frauds attempts are deliberate and we will see more.. The Democrats are doing it knowing they have a great chance of getting away with it. I think they are actually HOPING some fraud attempts are uncovered because it works for them... Heck this is at least 4 years in the making... what we can expect to be found is a tip of the iceberg. They have been working at it and are far ahead of the voter registration folks and the Republicans. In fact I believe they have a number of fraud attempts they EXPECT to be detected.

The shear incredulity of the citizens that so many votes are fraudulent will help the Democrats. I am sure most of you have noticed the seemingly daily news of voter fraud attempts. We have also seen the harassment and threatening of Republican campaign workers. I am sure many of you have also heard of the masses of emails and over loading of polls by the Democrats. On top of all that are the almost open skewing of news stories and reports by the MSM.

I am not sure all of it was planned to be happening together but it is. I believe the voting an voter registration frauds attempts are deliberate and we will see more.. The Democrats are doing it knowing they have a great chance of getting away with it. I think they are actually HOPING some fraud attempts are uncovered because it works for them...

Heck this is at least 4 years in the making... what we can expect to be found is the tip of the iceberg. They have been working at it and are far ahead of the voter registration folks and the Republicans. In fact I believe they have not just a hope but they EXPECT to have a large number to be detected. This diverts the election registration folks and Republicans who can "feel good" about the fraud they were able to uncover and “prevent”. The uncovered fraud attempts though are only hiding the scale of how pervasive this is.

I think this election will make most banana republics look like the continental congress. Be ready for it, the signs are all there. All the recent detections are just the ones that got coverage. Most of us haven't read about all the "fraudulent registrations" and other irregularities that have been uncovered lately all over the country. It has seemingly been a couple a day for the last week or two. That is why the poll results and the debates really do not matter to the ‘rats. It is okay if they do okay in the polls or debates but it is no where near as critical as what I think we will find they have been setting up for the last 4 years.

As far as voting fraud attempts go the ‘rats do not care if some are uncovered, maybe not even if a bunch are uncovered as it may still work to their advantage. I am sure there is so much fraud in place right now it could never be uncovered in a few weeks or months time.. Here is what I see happening. There is more than enough evidence they think they win either way. If at the time of the vote fraudulent votes are discovered, whether thousands or hundreds of thousands, this will cause one of several possibilities to happen.

1] On election night if Kerry at first look is the winner and if some fraud is uncovered (which it probably will be) the very fact that Republicans will probably call for an investigation (because of the proliferation they found so far) the ‘rats will say it is an attempt like in 2000 to overturn the "will of the people". The 'Rats with the aid of the MSM! will demonize the Republicans immediately and for years. Throughout the whole thing the Dems will actually attempt to get it into a court and more than likely they might succeed. See they feel safe with it going to the lower courts who have been their friends for so long with so many issues. When/if it goes to the SCOTUS they declare that court as being prejudiced (and a Republican controlled farce) Once again the MSM is critical here. Even if eventually Kerry is the real winner they don't care about all this because serves for their side when Kerry nominates the replacements for the 3 or 4 SCOTUS justices expected to retire during the 8 years after the election.

2] If there was massive voter fraud that is detected and Bush was really the winner then a series of chances for the 'rats occur. First if the election is investigated and a large chunk of the fraud is uncovered and Bush is declared the winner (after 5 months or so of investigation) they will still call it an attempt to over turn the "will of the people". They (with the aid of the MSM!) demonize the Republicans for years.. they are still trying from the last election. Once again I am sure it will end up at SCOTUS and that will help them with their case for preventing conservative judges during the next 4 years under Bush.

Now in the second scenario here is how it could be much worse and again they don't care because they will use that too. The other thing that could happen (even if Bush is the real winner) is that because of the massive scale of the voter fraud the election could be declared null and a NEW E;LECTION is called for or worse a COURT ORDERS IT. Again the 'rats see this as an acceptable outcome. Just more time to commit more fraud and use the MSM and their own shrill voices to demonize the right and right "leaning" SCOTUS. If a new election is not called for and Bush is the still the winner... they see that as a victor. If a new election is not ordered and just a recount... they get to play the same game of “which block of Republican voters do we exclude—just like in Florida” a drill well practiced. MSM helps here too.

If it is a case of a new election being called this leaves another possibility that after the second election of 2004 is called the Dems will declare the whole process tainted and trouble starts. Possibly rioting and worse. The MSM will of course keep up the pressure with their own unique perspective and biased opinion. Soon many in the public will be so worn out of the "hatred" and 'evil" of politics and now the Democrats' get the populace to join their cry to "just let the will of the people prevail". It will be loud, nasty, and possibly violent. Like nothing we have seen. Doubt this scenario? Dan Rather and CBS have still NOT admitted the used FORGERIES to try to influence the will of the public. They used a bunch of different words and phrases but no apologies for forgeries. They still think they were dealing with the substance of the issue... Bush’s poor record in the national guard... even though that has been shown to NOT be the truth. What do you think they would do in an election scenario like one I have presented?

What are we seeing now about the voter fraud that is being caught in the registration process? Is there a cry from the MSM to get ot the bottom of this? Is there teams of investigative reporters looking into the intimidation of Republican campaign workers? Did they closely examine all the “disenfranchised military members and families from the last election?

Possibly (worst case) Bush being a patriot and a good man finally concedes (for the good of the Union) or agrees to "terms" for Kerry to concede or voters just don't bother to vote. Either way the Democrats see this as a win.... they are better at playing the PR/MSM/Public Opinion game and that will be critical at a stage like a do-over election call. They will say that the whole thing is so wrapped with fraud and the conflict which ensues is again just fine to them.

You see the very complication of all of it will work in their favor. They know most of the general public can't pay attention to more than a sound bite. If a news anchor can't explain it in 30 seconds most will not follow the story. That is except for the die hard Right wingers on the Internet. Those can then be even further demonized. You see they really feel they will win it either way even if their fraud is detected.

I hope I am not right but the number of recent discoveries points to fraud almost beyond what “we” can believe but far beyond what the average person can believe... and so won't. Remember the one call the ‘rats have made since the last election. "Never again."

This might mean to regular people “never a close election again”. To them I am sure that it really means never again will they do it on a small scale. They meant never fraud on such a small scale ever again. IF they want a sure win they need to commit enough fraud to win or completely muck things up giving them a chance to win. No matter what the see the chance here to try to get the election and to try to destroy the Republican party as a side bonus..

So I think the fraud will be UNBELIEVABLE. They think they (with the help of the MSM) can win a PR battle either way. If Kerry is the real winner they win.. the investigations and civil uncertainty were the Rights fault. If Bush is the real winner they hope it can even then be made out that he stole the election again. If Bush is the real winner but the massiveness of the fraud enables them to get a new election called they still win.

They want the press involved, they want the courts involved, they feel those are their "home fields" anyway. They have been preparing for it. Expect to even see fraudulent Republican votes or voter registrations done by them to really throw things off...... these will mostly be found to have been NOT done by Republicans. But again they don't care, the first call of "fraud" and "Republicans" together is all they want.

Sadly I believe this seems to possibly explain the extensive numbers of fraud attempts being uncovered and why we will see more uncovered... and will miss many more. Kerry's latest statements over the last week about not wanting "to let 1 million votes go uncounted" and "no voter should be disenfranchised” are all part of this. Sure does look like they are setting up for the fraud to come and already trying to put it on the Republicans. The MSM is already helping by covering Kerry and Edwards’s statement of disenfranchisement and voters left behind.

They see any or part of what I have suggested as a win. What have they got to lose? Ever here of a big name presidential or congressional candidate getting investigated or charged with vote fraud?

Look at it this way - the Rinos couldn't deliver PA last election when they were at the controls. They allowed all that fraud (110% of eligible vote in Philly) to occur. Now that Rendell is in control and Democrats coast to coast are involved in fraud everywhere, he can do anything he damned well pleases and get away with it. Why would anyone spend any time worrying about what he's doing in PA and why would the Rinos do anything but whine just like the last time.

Does Pennsylvania law give the governor the right to extend the voting deadline. I believe Federal Law governs the military voting rights and time requirements and the military will get enough time to vote.

Kate Phillips, Gov. Rendell's press secretary, said neither Rendell nor the Pennsylvania State Department believed it was necessary to extend the deadline two weeks. She said state officials believed that all overseas ballots and military ballots would be able to be counted under plans already in place.

But the Justice Department motion, filed late Friday, contends that a court order is needed because lawyers for the commonwealth would not agree to a joint request to the court to allow the extension.

In addition to extending the deadline for returning overseas absentee ballots until Nov. 17, the Justice Department motion asks Kane to order the state to accept other methods for receving ballots, including air express, fax, and e-mail.

'Guidance'

In the last seven months, election officials in Georgia have begun using fax and e-mail to transmit overseas absentee ballots, the motion said.

"Such procedures could be adopted by state officials here to address the security and privacy concerns of this court, and provide guidance to county officials," the Justice motion said.

The request for a temporary restraining order against the state stemmed from its complicated overseas ballot distribution system and the uncertainty about whether independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader would be on the ballot.

State law required the counties to start sending out ballots to overseas military personnel and civilians by Sept. 20. Some counties may have missed that deadline.

Other ballots have been issued as applications were received in county offices. Some overseas ballots that have gone out have included Nader's name; some have not. Others have been in the form of write-in ballots.

Other states

Pennsylvania is not alone. Similar legal disputes involving Nader, and late primary elections, have kept officials in eight of 15 "swing states" from mailing absentee ballots by the Sept. 20 deadline. Two states, Ohio and Washington, already have extended their overseas absentee-ballot deadlines.

The issue came up before Pennsylvania's April 27 primary election. That was when Justice Department lawyers first filed suit in federal court in Harrisburg, contending that overseas voters faced being disfranchised because officials failed to mail the absentee ballots in time for overseas voters to return them to Pennsylvania by the April 23 primary deadline.

Judge Kane ordered state officials to extend the deadline for accepting overseas absentee ballots to May 17. She also ordered the state to pay for overnight delivery for voters to return their absentee ballots, to buy advertisements in publications likely be read by U.S. voters overseas, and to prepare public-service announcements to air on the U.S. Armed Forces Network.
