It is for these reasons also that I thank God for the men and women who fought against Sadaam in both Iraq wars. We can make many comparisons to Hitler and Sadaam: both killed many of their own people, both invaded neighboring countries and thought America wouldn't have the guts to do anything (Sadaam ofcourse invaded Kuwait).

As I look back, I thank God that George H.W. Bush was president during the first Gulf War, and that he did have the guts to stop Sadaam even when libs were telling him to do nothing.

However, the terrorists declared war on us in 1979. We had seen many hijackings, bombings, attacks, and shootings before we even decided to do anything. When we appeased the terrorists all they did was get stronger.

September 11 can be in many ways compared to Pearl Harbor. Before Pearl Harbor we had sat and watched the axis of evil gain power, while we as Americans just watched. Then the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and all of the sudden we were in a war that European countries had been fighting for years. Before September 11, we were attacked numerous times by terrorists, but still we watched them grow stronger and stronger throughout the years. Then September 11 came along, and we found ourself in a war that we should have engaged in a long, long time ago.

Yes, GWB is definitely a man of conviction willing to call a spade a spade.

Kerry will bend over for the UN. The UN that has yet to address the ongoing slavery in the Sudan.
