As soon as the election is over, and there's no longer any hope of Kerry winning, these incidents will begin to subside.

I had a little epiphany the other day. Some movie I was watching made the point how a small man can overpower a larger enemy. It all comes down to will power.

How did Hitler take a bankrupt nation, thwart restrictions against mobilization, and build an army that crushed France in days, and took its tanks into Stalingrad?

It happened while others watched. France didn't have the will to do anything. And neither did England's Chamberlain. For various reasons no one had the will to confront this evil man and his plans. All it would have taken was a very small army in the mid-30s to stop the tyrant. Yet no one did. They made excuses. Called Hitler a reasonable man.

I hope and wonder does the West possess the will to fight? Our enemy has a psychotic will that needs a determined will on our part. So far I think the jury is still out. Many even deny terror as a real threat. Will we grow up? Will we start calling our enemy by its name?
