I am surprised that the various cable channels, as well as the Sunday network news programs, and PBS, etc., appear to be unaware that viewers encountering one of these hideous freaks will automatically switch the channel.
It does not necessarily seem to be the case that this reaction is completely related to party affiliation. Some of the most leftwing discussants are perfectly watchable, if laughable, whille others are absolutely beyond the limit.
Those leftists that immediately come to mind, aside from Geraldine Ferraro, are Charlie Rangel, Ellen Ratner, Ann Lewis.
Lying alone does not seem do it, shrieking alone does not do it.
So is it the combination of these two, or are there other factors?
I'd like to know who's on your list, and what actually makes them unwatchable--and why the bookers put them on the air.
Why do they keep bringing that yapper on?
I can't stand this woman. She doesn't stop talking even after the interviewer tells her to stop, and she's not even reasonable. Kind of reminds me of another obnoxious Eleanor Clift.
She's so ridiculous that it helps our cause. Let her keep yapping her pie hole.
Eleanor Clift gets my vote as a channel turner!
I was laughing my an*S off.
Good question. Maybe I say that because I was thinking something close to the same thing as I saw Ms. Ferraro come on and listen for a moment and then choose to make a phone call I had been putting off. One thing she does is snort audibly when her counterpart is talking. Of course, she attempts to talk over them. But most of all, she never says anything of substance. These observations are in addition to yours, all of which I agree with. I really wish Fox would get rid of her. She brings nothing to the discussion, and I really don't mind hearing the democrats point of view.
Susan Estrich
Estrich.
Shrill. Ignorant. Rote responses. And a two-bagger to boot.
Ellis Henican does it for me.
So does Greta Van Suseteran or Van Cistern, whatever.
Ellen Ratner makes me ralph.
Eleanor Clift reminds me of fingernails on the blackboard.
Ann Lewis makes me lunge for the remote.
John Kerry--just makes my ears bleed.
Eleanor Clift; and that Ratner gal... I can't switch channels fast enough when either of those wenches hit my screen.
Every time I see her on I immediately change the channel - along with that guy that was on with O'Rielly debating Tony Snow - can't think of his name but he has white hair(young guy)and a very irratating voice.
Fox seems to have an absolute talent lately for finding loud raucous disruptive shrill buttinsky frantic liberal females. The one who made me almost break either my TV or the object I threw at it,was that Jenny B-something or other they've had on a few times lately, some 'Rat operative. She talks non-stop,sucks up most of the interview time shrilly screaming 'Rat talking points, never has a point to make, interrupts the shell-shocked conservative guest when they finally come to and try to speak, and seems to think that if she repeats the same thing loud enough, long enough, and gets it in last, she wins. I despise that woman so much that I called Fox to say that if they had her on again I'd quit watching. She's not even a worthy opponent,I don't know why they have her.
What I REALLY don't know is why so far,not one conservative guest opposite her has told her to shut the hell up and let them speak. If it was me,I'd have slapped the taste out of her mouth by now.
Susan Oestrus and Eleanor Clift top my list.
I can't listen to or watch Terry MaAuliffe. He is going to lie, exagerate and answer every question he is asked with a nonreponsive talking point that always contains an exagerated lie. There never, never is anything he says that is worth listening to.
See every "unwatchable" already mentioned and raise you ...
GLORIA ALDRED !!!
Eleanor Cliff-jumper, Terry McAwful, and Susan Ostrich do it for me, along with everyone on your list. It's a combination of smug condescension and insipid lack of minimal self-awareness and self-criticism that do it to me.... also, suffering with a face and voice like those of Eleanor Clift really do make me want to end it all immediately..... :^)
When I see Gerry, I switch the channel. Who needs to watch Alan and her engage in a Liberal love in?
But when I did, I could not stomach Gene Sperling. And then there's that Charles Barron nutjob...
But the cream of the crop was Jerry "Creamed Corn" Nadler...I expected him to choke on the chicken leg he had stuffed in his pocket.
I thought precisely the same thing, and jumped to MSNBC. but what I found there was actually frightening, so I took the cheap way out and went to ESPNNEWS for a few minutes until I felt better.
