This is just a lawyers trick. Figure out what the other side knows you did then blame them more loudly first.
The logic of this is just bizarre. They think the GOP made up some phony docs and passed them off to a nutjob like Burkett, knowing that they would be deemed authentic by Dan Rather's incompetent journalism standards (how does any of this vindicate Rather by the way) Then sit back and pray that bloggers and the same MSM that normally screws Republicans would expose them as fakes. This is wacky stuff.
