Actually liberals do get banned here, quite a bit.

you went to a liberal site to attack liberals, not on any issue, but just genrally as 'bad people'. i cant understand why they didnt listen to you and change immediately! (sarcasm)

freep is very similar to those other sites, only in the same way black is similar to white. neither site accepts trolling from the opposition and bannings are common in both (actually ive never really gone to DU except those links about that purnell guy so im assuming here) ends of the spectrum.

i would suggest a better tactic would be to actually debate some points in which you feel confident. purely judgemental stuff like 'homosexuality is bad' is hard to argue with people who may not have the same religious basis, but you could argue war issues. going somewhere to generally point out that 'you guys are bad!' isnt really going to be very effective.

myself, i try to ignore all the liberal hate here because i dont understand it. i have anti-war freinds and i respect their views. clearly they were outnumbered and pro-war people (such as myself) got our way. but the arguments arent clear cut. in the end we have to look at the potential cost in innocent lives (im sad so many of saddams conscripts had to die a hot sharp terrible death in the desert) and make a decision. i made mine, they made theirs, we live in a democracy and the decision (which sometimes we agree with and sometimes we dont) is made and we abide by it. i would never want to go to war without someone arguing the anti-war case strongly. it is a topugh decision.

surely everyone here doesnt hate all liberals like this? i can be freinds with people i disagree with. sometimes that disagreement can actually become a very interesting part of the freindship, like a spark. i know theres intolerance on both sides, but surely we can debate the issues without having to resort to generalisations and pettiness?

oh well, maybe its back to ignoring the partisan insults and back to my crazy ideas about the war on terror.
