But since the Borders Union page is mysteriously "broken" now, I thought others might like to read what we found on the page...
Has anyone sent these comments to Borders Corporate offices?
These are the people, remember, who are oh so "liberal". Don't forget how "liberal" are the people who damage property and want to prevent you from reading printed material they dislike.
Interesting how this happens. The other day there was thread on FR taking the Kerry people to task for mocking Zell's southern accent on the Kerry website. That page went down pretty quick, too.
I managed a copy from the local B&N. I make sure and buy my political books directly from the hippie chick who works the front in the evenings.

As Red Ivan and I were just discussing, who buys books at brick-and-mortar bookstores nowadays anyway?
That's so pre-blog.
Meanwhile, the book sells 89,000 copies in one week. Go ahead, little "liberals," shoot your spitballs at the free market, at courageous John O'Neill and Regnery, and at the American book-buying public. Little misfits.
But the Google cache still has it all. Be sure to click on the "cached" tab for each entry.

I say.. no big deal. If kept up, there will be a bookstore chain that will see the conservative market and pounce. 10 years from now Borders will be scratching their heads just like CNN is now. If a bookstore wants to cater to a liberal customers base then so be it.

I had sooo much fun reading those posts! Liberals are always good for a laugh but they are also such idiots. I mean they have no common sense. I am sure glad that they don't work for me.
I am still shaking my head and laughing. Borders probably doesn't know what hit it! The site is now DOWN! LOL
Like I mentioned on another thead, my copy from Amazon was damaged...marks all along the side that won't come off.
I'll just go to Borders when I want to take pictures in coffee table books with my digital or chew up employee time with lots of questions or order books I never intend to pick up or pay for or steer other customers to Borders' competitors or leave their books laying about to chew up more employee time or "forgetfully" leave print-outs about john kerry's misbehavior or put Michael Moore books on the wrong shelf or...
Two can play this game and if Borders wants declining profits, who am I to say 'no' to that?
First post I saw this morning included these quotes and was fromwas from National Review- Nordlinger entitled something like "Little Suppresor". I wonder which came first?
takagishi is the spitting image of a dishonest liberal swine
1. Call your local Border's and confirm they do not have the book.
2. Go to Border's and pick up 6 or eight books, try for the larger more expensive books.
3. Wait in line, let the cashier ring them up.
4. After they have rung them up, then say: 'Oh, I forgot one book. Do you have 'Unfit for command'?
5. When they don't have it, apologize and tell them you won't be needing the other books either.
Don't get mad, get even!
I worked for Borders and B&N during the nineties. Employees hid books they disagreed with all the time. It could be sort of benign, like never giving them any face-outs or displays.
Or they could just not bring them out of the stock room.
But I did my best to make everything available and noticeable.
I don't buy this for a minute. Regnery is in this to make a buck. This book is going to be on the dollar shelf in another few weeks.
The small walden books store I go to never has any problem getting me the conservative books I want. Those ladies are always glad to see me and my wallet.
Never again will they have my business.
