The latest smear is that GW got preferential treatment to get into the TANG and avoid Vietnam. So RATS and CBS will hammer away at that line. Unfortunately, the voters think how he got into the TANG is irrelevant. He flew planes, something most of us would be terrified to attempt. He could have been sent to Vietnam, as some were. He's been one hell of a CINC. Since 9/11, he's kept us from harm in deeply perilous times. Voters trust him with their lives. They know Kerry is bad news.
I have Rush on, though I'm not paying strict attention because I'm following this thread. A few minutes ago, he cited a new Rasmussen poll due to be released at 3:00 p.m. on the memos. Oddly only 56% of those following the story say their forgeries. I forget the other numbers except: Only 16% think Bush's NG service is important! That must mean that even most of the ABB people don't think it is.
