Well I can HOPE the delay is because either:

1) Rather locked himself in the bathroom and won't come out screaming repeatedly what's the frequency and I'm not a crook

2)The FBI has served a search warrant and is taking possesion of Rather & crew's computer and such and Rather is temporarily hooked up while the search is going on.

3) the source of the memo's is demanding to go on TV and tell why he forged the documents and CBS is refusing.

Not wanting to be macabre or tin-foil-hat-wearin', BUT...if things go down-hill fast for ol' Danny Boy, I hope CBS is able to keep Dan away from sharp objects and things that go BOOM. Especially as he goes on air LIVE. He is known to be "off-frequency" at times.
