Their only way out at this point is tho cry "hoax" and claim they were duped. Pin it on Burkett and low level Texas Dems. Try to avoid any connection to DNC & K/E Campaign. It still looks bad on CBS, but not as bad as admitting purposeful deception on their part.

ABC News devastated them last night with the report of the two document experts claiming CBS ignored their warnings.....
I'll bet the CBS attorneys are now calling the shots.......if what the two experts claim is true .....CBS willfully committed a fraud.......and it is time to protect VIACOM.
Rather is about to get tossed over the side..

If they don't take this route in the next day or two it tells me the source is higher up the Rat foodchain. Dan would rather be remembered as a joke of a journalist than the man who put the final stake in Kerry Campaign.

They can stick to the story, even faced with overwhelming evidence. "We know things that you don't, the story is true, we stand by it, and we aren't going to divulge any information about our additional research, or about our sources."
