Kelley Wright just reported that CBS is expected to make a statement this morning regarding the documents!
Dan Rather will announce that he'll resign, but not before November.
Dan Rather and one of his flunkies called US "partisan political operatives in pajamas."

Good. We'll have at least another week of "no coverage of Kerry and his bogus policy proposals", while the rest of the media continues to quote experts and to report on the falling ratings of CBS news...

The reality is they have achieved what they set out to do - They changed the subject. It is now all about Pres. Bush's military service and not Kerry's. So if documents continue to surface about Kerry, or groups like the Swifts, POW's, Vietnam Vets, come forward with more testimony and ads, they will call it revenge...and claim that THEIR documents are forgeries!
We need to re-focus on Kerry. HOW do we do it. This controversy about Dan Rather and the memos could be the #1 "issue" for weeks and that most likely does not help Pres. Bush. It may not hurt, but I don't see the benefit...Not in the way it's being presented: "It's the story and not the documents that matter". They won't give that one up.

No checks and balances my butt. Evidently Mr. Klein's never been on the recieving end of a "flame", when one of his facts he made in a post was shown wrong. hehe

Actually, I bet everyone is in agreement except for Dan, who does NOT want to have to admit he is wrong, and I bet THAT is causing the delay.
