Have you ever read the book"The Great pyramids" by Peter Tompkins.
He proves the structure is a mathematical model of the earth and contains many mathematical truths.
He is big on mensuration and the development of measurements. His theory is that the Kings Chamber is a temperature/pressure controlled room and the sarcophagus is a volumetric measuring vessel developed to establish true measuring devices for grain or other commodities requiring accurate measurement standardization.
I think his is the best overall work I have read.

His theory is that the sarcophagus is so precisely hollowed out that it could only have been done by machine.
