Didn't Al Gore show up on earth shortly after that crash?

Born nine months later.

I would like to respectfully request a layman's translation.

Seems to me that this means that something is very odd with the metal alloy. What I would like to know is if the alloy has any advantages for spaceflight.

Is it super strong? Higher density would suggest so, but I'm not a metallurgist.

What is the significance of the bubbles in the water and acid solution?

I know it's reacting, but I can't seem to grasp the significance.

What about the organic like clusters? Does that mean it was "grown"?

Looks to me like there would be definite advantages to "growing" seamless parts.

I'm not suggesting it's alien in origin. Just wondering.

First the JFJ crap and now this. Don't you have anything better to do during the week of the dem convention than waste bandwidth on junk like this?

Even the pictures of kerry in the clean room makes more sense.

Born nine months later.

Hmmmmmmm!

Those folks in his home state, Tennessee, who failed to vote for him back in 2000 must have known something! ;-)

And of course, the fact that the "Roswell Incident" is just about the most ridiculous of the major UFO cases and can be debunked simply by looking at the thing in its historical context and tracing the development of the myth.

Heh! You're going to laugh — I actually designed and produced that image (as a poster, originally) for the Official X-Files Fan Club back when I was living in L.A. in the mid-Nineties. I sure was surprised to see it here!

Anomalies Found...

It's Bush's fault and I am deeply saddened. Now - time for a shower and some cheese.

I understand the relevance of this. Your tinfoil hat is not, in fact, made of tinfoil.

I'm a layman and here's my explanation:

Further evidence of a possible chemical reaction became apparent when a very active bubble formation was noted within about three minutes after introducing a 90 mg. Bi/Mg sample into the water.

That's to be expected. They don't like water much, you know.

No way. You did? Now see, I would believe we are holding an alien 20 miles below the surface of the earth in New Mexico before I believed that...!

Now see, if this had happened a little later, I would say a piece of a J58 came off in flight and someone found it.

Repeated trials of placing the Bi/Mg samples in water consistently disclosed the presence of bubble emission within a very short time after submerging in water.

So the poor aliens got rained on and their craft dissolved.
Dumb aliens.

This is clearly another case of Bush failing to address the alien issue.

There is nothing mysterious about this at all. These compositions are solder alloys used in military power electronics and semiconductors in the 60s and 70s. Although not mainstream consumer materials they are certainly not from outer space.
