Stopped using BellSouth two months ago. Stopped using AT&T five years ago. Throw $10 more at your cell phone plan, to cover those extra local minutes needed. Switch to cable for I-Net access. Fund it by dumping local service like BellSouth, and save the $50 month.

Their 70 year old model doesn't work any more.

Good for you. BellSouth sucks. We had a nightmare trying to get our phone activated through them last year, and finally told them to forget it. Our local cable company (Knology) offers bundled cable, local phone & broadband (1.5 Mbps). We have been very pleased with it.
