Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton(R) was given a speaking slot at this month's Democratic National Convention in Boston, after party leaders initially denied the former first lady a place in the spotlight, officials said on July 15, 2004. Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry(L), who will be officially named party nominee at the July 26-29 gathering, delivered the speaking invitation personally after phoning Clinton on Thursday, a source familiar with the situation said. "Saying the U.S. hadn't previously seen itself as an "arrogant, military power,"

Thats funny, I don't see the US as being arrogant.

"My instinct tells me that the current situation does not guarantee Bush's re-election," Clinton was quoted as saying in comments that were published in French...

Hey, Bubba? There are a whole lot of us who really don't give a RAT's what you think.

Did your "instinct" tell you to perform those atrocities in the Oval Office, too?

The headline doesn't reflect what Clinton said. "My instinct tells me that the current situation does not guarantee Bush's re-election," Nothing is ever a lock in politics until the fat lady sings. There are no guarantees.

AP Bias Alert:

Since when does "My instinct tells me that the current situation does not guarantee Bush's re-election" mean "Clinton Has Hunch That Bush Won't Win Election"

What Clinton said was the chances that Bush wins are less than 100%... what AP reported in their headline and in their first sentence is that Bush is going to lose.

I heard on Hannity's program (yesterday) that Newt is predicting Bush at 58% in November. Did anyone else hear that?

Clinton added: "I am in profound disagreement with the method of the current government."

That could only mean that we're doing things "Right".

Hasn't everyone that the trashman endorses or helps in an election in the last four years lost?? Like gore, gray davis, mondale, janet reno? The only one I can remember winning was richardson in new mexico (well, duh!!). I would think the dimi's would start begging him to stay away. Losers begets losers!
