Of course, it'll be interesting to see if they can continue to assure the standards and quality needed to make nuclear weapons. Islam has no technology it didn't acquire from the west and their own attempts at indigeneous industry are a thorough train wreck. Look for Europe to regress technologically as well as socially when it falls. That may be the only thing that saves us.

I know the Moslem world had been a bastion of knowledge 1000 years ago or so, they were ahead of Europe at that time. Even today, they are no dummies but what would hold them back as you stated is they have a crutch where everything that happens is "the will of Allah." I've heard stories that when we are teaching the Egyptians on how to run and maintain the M1 tanks we sell them, it is a headache to impress upon them that the tanks need to have preventative maintenance every so often. The oil needs changed, the tracks need to be replaced, this needs overhauled every 100,000 miles, etc. I was discussing this with a friend one night and he pointed this out to me where if a tank or a truck breaks down, it isn't due to lack of maintenance (even if that is really the cause of it) but it is because of "the will of Allah."

I know nukes need maintenance, especially H-bombs, you need to put in new tritium every so often since that isotope of hydrogen has a half-life of 10.8 years (or around there) although the fission core can "still go boom" for maybe the size of a Hiroshima blast (12 to 20 kilotons) although there are some fission weapons that can get up to 500 kiloton yields. I'm not familiar with what France has to comment on their weapon yields.

Still maybe that could be our saving grace although society as we know it will collapse and hopefully we can prevent that or at least have enough damage control in the US (North America)to be able to weather the storm. I'm afraid if Europe keeps on having loads on Moslems come in and not assimilating to their new homes, they are doomed. I have nothing against ethic heritage, but when immigrants came to North America, they became part of society instead of importing what they had in the Old Country and trying to create the same things they had there. I mean if they do that, what's the point of immigrating anyways?
