Arlette Laguillere, the pasionaria of the Workers' Struggle, claims that "the struggle for Palestine" is now an integral part of the "global proletarian revolution."
The left has been doing this for a long time. Until a few years ago, I lived near Columbia University, and "Palestine" was being supported not only by the Socialist Workers Party and other nuts who posted on street lamps, but by the professoriat and supposed moderates (this in a university that has a huge Jewish population).
