Cutting spending
is important, but it's not nearly as important as cutting taxes. Look at the 1980s. Spending went up a
lot, but the economy expanded because of relatively low tax rates.
This bunch just wants to raise taxes; the "balanced budget" thing is just a sham argument to achieve that goal.
