Plame was not the person who made the decision to send him. Of her memo, he said: "I don't see it as a recommendation to send me."

I was expecting him to deny the existence of the memo. Now, he essentially confirms it. His explanation, however, is idiotic. Why would she have mentioned Wilson if not to recommend him?

This is exactly like Sidney Blumenthal coming out of the grand jury when he testified for Starr and lying by saying all they asked was about Clinton's sex life. He lied because he didn't think he would get caught. Same with Wilson.
