A Muslim cemetery and a village in eastern France were painted with Neo-Nazi slogans and swastikas over the weekend, prompting Interior Minister Dominique de Villepin to head to the region to speak with officials and religious representatives.
More than 50 Muslim graves in a Strasbourg cemetery were covered with black swastikas and, in some cases, "HH" (for Heil Hitler) and the neo-Nazi characters "88", which refer to the letter H being the 8th letter in the alphabet.
A wall nearby was inscribed with threats against the heads of the regional Muslim council and the regional assembly as well as the phrases "Sieg Heil", "White Race", "White Power" and "Adolf".
In the village of Wittersdorf, 80 kilometres to the south, similar graffiti was sprayed on walls, bus shelters and along streets on Saturday night.
Insults were also written against the town's mayor and "Attention: the Jews are back" was painted on the outside of a Jewish person's home.
Police were investigating both acts of vandalism.
Mr De Villepin will discuss those and other racist incidents with local Muslim and Jewish leaders.

Whatever Hitler's crazy racialist views may have held about Arabs, he kept them to himself. As an equivalent example see the Japanese as "Yellow Aryans".
He also pitched himself as the liberator of the muslim world from those evil Brits and French, and indeed muslims fought with and for the Third Reich.

Not a hate crime? Definitely not in the USA. We'd have everyone from the local police to the FBI out after the culprits.
Strictly speaking, these extreme right parties that are suddenly rising up in Europe aren't actually Nazi parties. Naziism is based on pagan tribalism applied to the nation as a whole. But "neo-fascist" parties are mainly concerned about the invasion of their nations from within, not so much in domination the regions around their borders.
Also, Hitler had it in mind to get rid of the Jews because he wanted to eradicate those who had "invented" God. It was the first step in wiping out Christianity and replacing it with Paganism. However, I'm told that some of these far-right parties (such as the oft-reviled BNP) are actually fielding Jewish candidates.
One more thing. Technically, Muslims do not intend to destroy the Jews, at least not right away. For the time being, it will do simply to get rid of Israel as a predominantly Jewish state. Except for Israel, they have no more bones with Jews than they do with Christians--as long as the two groups submit quietly to the Islamic authorities and agree to live a humiliating second-class lifestyle. Of course, they would hope that eventually, the persecution and humiliation would gradually drive enough of the Christians and Jews to apostasize to Islam that the former two groups simply dissolve.

As Germany and France continue to stagnate due to unchecked socialism, there will be more and more people looking for a scapegoat.

Not the way most writers (not pundits) use it. "Conservative" to them implies "center-right"; the "extreme right" is far too reactionary to even come close to being Conservative.

It sounds like it --- the Nazis would have gone after the graves of Jews. Muslims wouldn't bother them because they believe in a similar fascist form of government and hate Jews even more than the Nazis did. Nazis admire Muslims and Muslims admire Nazis except say they didn't finish the job.
