He crapped all over the constitution and tried to have the CJOTSC arrested. He fixed the elections in Maryland by force of arms. He was no great President, unless of course, you think it's great to slaughter a whole generation of Americans to keep some states from doing what they were certainly allowed to do, morally and legally.

I teach at the U. of Dayton. You're welcome to come learn something sometime, as apparently you're clueless on a few things. BTW, Richard Bensel has done a study of Lincoln's "oppressive" government vs. the Confederacy's "enlightened" states' rights government, and in 150 separate points of comparison found the Union far more Libertarian-oriented than the South.
