Thanks for all that hard work explaining the connections.
I also think Saddam had a hand in 9-11.

I resent very much people like Clarke, Kerry, Kennedy calling everyone who thinks this a moron. If Kerry gets elected, he is going to turn us over to our enemies. He wants to be friends with the people who were taking Saddam's bribes. He is for security over democracy. Aren't all communists? I remember Kerry's lies to the Congress during Vietnam. I loathe him. He sounds just like Al Jazeera. Bush freed two countries. Sure, there is terrorism; but there were terrorists running the governments in Afghanistan and Iraq before Bush. Now the killing is more visible. Even some of the Iraqi militants in Falujah are getting sick of the foreign fighters of Al Qaeda.

I have ordered Stephen Hayes' book called Connections from the link at the Weekly Standard. I've already read Mylroie and think she makes a good case.

Certainly governments are helping Al Qaeda.

Blaming 911 on Bush 1 if Iraq's cooperation with Al Queda was made known is a stretch...other than that..excellent info.

Thanks for all the info - will do some checking myself.

well, let's just say that if Saddam's in 911 is explained to the American people and to the world, then Cheny, Powell, and President Bush's father would be liable for 911 as they didn't remove Saddam when they had the chance. Definately not something they want proven wrong about!

I noticed that all of your info is AFTER the Gulf War. I remember the concern about not 'finishing the job' on Saddam. I also remember that the 'coalition', especially the Arab contingent, was opposed to continuring, and THAT is why Saddam was left in power. They also believed he had been so weakened, that there would be a coup. Of course, the people were not given the support they had expected - back to the coalition.

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper “Al-Nasiriya” carried a column headlined, “American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin.” (July 21, 2001)

In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US “with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.”

The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden “will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,” and that the US “will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs” – an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, “New York, New York”.

I find it quite odd that this photo has never appeared in the mainstream media.

Oh, great.. .by writing, "Even pens and pencils can be used for that purpose they were trained," the brain-dead TSA goons will now take away my pens when I board a flight. . .(why they haven't done so yet is a mystery to me, as anyone with an ounce of brains knows a good ballpoint pen makes a better weapon than a fingernail clipper).

I always think Dan Rather has a similar on in his office, only with him under the turban.

OKC-911 CONNECTION ALERT. Please let me know by freepmail if you want to be taken off this list. Thanks.

More info peripheral to OKC, but perhaps some of you sharp folks will notice a 'coincidental' circumstance in here somewhere. LOTS of info, distilled into one post.
