"Some critics speculated that if "Fahrenheit 9/11" won the top prize, it would be more for the film's politics than its cinematic value." .......... ya THINK?

At least Leni Riefenstahl had talent.........A lot cuter, too.

There has to be a venue somewhere in the world where over-indulged, pompous, elitist socialistic busy bodies display their most irrational, contemptuous, non-reality based world view without repercussion from the mundane common folks that they are forced to share the planet with. Cannes is that place

I guess Wong Kar Wai's 2046 didn't make it in time for the competition. Had it won, it would have been the first science fiction film to win the Palme d'Or. Instead, a pure fantasy film won the top prize *sigh*.

New axis of evil: Michael Moore, Cannes Film Festival and Hollywood.

Incestuous group of blowhards if there ever was one.

Rush? Nope. Jackie Gleason, John Belushi, Drew Carey, Roseanne Barr, Camryn Mannheim, Oprah Winfrey...nope.

I don't agree with many of these folks politics and morals, but Michael Moore is a disease. If I want to be childish and call him a porker, I damn well will.

I agree, Leni Riefenstahl had extraordinary talent. Too bad she used it the way she did.

I'd like to see the fat slob frying at 911 Deg Farenheit.

Think of the grease slick he'd make in the pan.

How high do you think blood pressures will go in Hollywood and France when Bush is re-elected?

IF he gets reelected...

Market Relative Strength Sectorial Analysis indicated a further slippage last week. over the past six weeks, the reading has gone from +1 to -14.

The Market is predicting BIG trouble in November.
