The Archdiocese has collaborated with and has a relationship with the Islamic Center of Long Island, 835 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury, NY. Larry Cohler Esses of the NY Daily News wrote an investigative report on March 30,2003 called, "Sowing the Seeds of Hatred". The report detailed hate being taught in local Islamic Schools. The Crescent School, 835 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury was specifically cited. It's teacher, Yahiya Emerick, is also the publisher of anti-Christian, anti-Jewish textbooks and is the head of the Islamic Foundation of North America, a Queens-based non-profit curriculum development project. The publisher was until recently, funded by a Saudi Arabian Foundation...
CAIR - Council on American Islamic Relations, recently had three top members indicted on terrorism charges, (Ismail Royer - Comm. Dir.) found guilty and sentenced to jail. Cair's leader - Nihad Awad - has publicly proclaimed support for Hamas. American Muslim Alliance and CAIR co-sponsored hate rally in 1998 at Brooklyn College where radical Egyptian cleric, Wagdy Ghunein led the group in the rabidly anti-Semitic song that called Jews, apes and monkeys. Hillary Clinton gave back a $50,000 donation from this group after the media reported on it's radical connections. The Islamic Society of North America's former Pres. is Siraj Wahhaj. He has been named as one of the "unindicted co-conspirators of the first WTC bombing. The ISNA recently had their tax records seized by the government for an investigation into possible terror links.
How can cultural bridges be built when one is dealing with hate? The Catholic Church should not be associated with this group. This relationship must end and I urge you to all contact Bishop Murphy and Msgr. Hartmann and Rabbi Gellman of the God Squad.
Please know that I have made Bishop Murphy and Msgr. Hartmann fully aware of the radical connections of this mosque. Congressman Peter King, (R-Nassau), has publicly spoken about this mosque on numerous radio and television shows including: O'Reilly Factor, Gabe Pressman, Sean Hannity, Religion on the Line, etc. He specifically cites this mosque and has publicly proclaimed that he has "cut all ties with this mosque" due to troubling statements they have made. King is a member of the Dept. of Homeland Security and has accused this mosque of being "less than cooperative" with the authorities in their investigation of 9/11.

Milford, This will be in.
Rockville Centre is not an Archdiocese.
The enemy is within.

Freep them here
They don't care. I live right here in Uniondale where they found time to shut down the monthly latin mass and charismatic mass at Pius X.
This was my Archdiocese when I was a kid.
Outstanding Coleus...thank you for the help. Hope they hear from people. The radicals use the established Churches, Synagogues, etc. for legitimacy, cover and protection.
Thank you newsgather.
You are correct...I will repost later with the correction.
It is up, http://www.christian-news-in-maine.com/ would you please keep me informed? Thanks.
Thank you for publishing the article. I've been trying, with little success, to get the word out.
I believe you would be interested in this site: www.jihadwatch.org. Robert Spencer has co-authored a book with a muslim convert. The Catholic Answer has advertised it citing the fact that it is a non-sanitized version of Islam. Mr. Spencer can cite specific Quranic verse and hadith. I believe you will find his information invaluable. Your online paper is most informative. I will keep you posted.
What makes some Catholic church clergy and officials do these things? Are they that naive? Is it P.C.? What?
I couldn't say for sure. I believe, yes, they WERE naive...and PC definitely comes into play. They told me that they wanted to build "cultural bridges". A worthy cause, I told them. But in light of the facts that now have been made known, it would be detrimental to continue building bridges with a group whose values run soooooo contrary to our own. I allowed for ignorance with the Diocese. After all, many of us are just now waking up to the reality of the situation. I informed the Diocese that they can no longer claim ignorance of the facts concerning the members of this mosque. I can assure you that I detailed and documented the offensive and problematic statements very, very well. In the meantime, I have continued to compile information about the Islamic Center and its members. I've come up with an extremely disturbing picture of the group. I realize a great deal of money was spent on this cable series. I'm sure it is a factor. Sadly, I believe that arrogance plays a huge part in the decision to continue the relationship with this mosque. Msgr. Hartmann has known Faroque Khan for over 10 years. I My letter to the Bishop stated, in response to this statement of his, that Msgr. Hartmann should discovered the truth about Khan himself.
I don't want to understate this last point at all because it is significant. The Diocese is also ignoring Cong. Peter King. As I stated, King has been very vocal in condemning the remarks made by the member of the Islamic Center. The Diocese certainly doesn't live in a bubble. One would think that the comments of this public figure, who sits on Homeland Security, would carry some weight. Arrogance.
It's true that after all that has happened, 911 and other terrorist's acts around the world, they should not plead ignorance. And yes! they should do their homework and find out what the heck is going on.
Radical Islam's goal is to take over the world. They won't be happy until that happens.

Pointy-headed Bishops. Aren't a couple of those guys in Rockville Center, esp. Murphy, mixed up in the homosexual abuse scandal? Isn't Murphy a very very close friend and confidante of Bernie Law?
See where their priorities are at?
FYI:
More than 6,000 "honour" crimes are committed every year -- in the West Bank, Jordan, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, India and Pakistan. In Pakistan the custom is an accepted part of national culture. In Jordan, a man who has killed his wife in a state of rage is entitled to the judge's clemency; the same law applies to a man who kills his wife simply because he suspects her of adultery. It is increasingly common for "disgraced" families to hire bounty hunters, so women who manage to escape to other countries are forced into hiding.
I have since met many of these women. One young girl has no legs: she was attacked by two men who tied her up and put her in the path of a train. Another girl's father and brother tried to murder her by stabbing her and throwing her into a dustbin. There is another whose mother and brothers threw her out of a window: she is paralysed.
I have never met any other burned women. As far as I know, none of them have survived.
