BAGHDAD - Militants on Saturday threatened to kill and mutilate Thomas Hamill, an American civilian captured during the ambush of a convoy west of Baghdad. In a videotape given to the Al-Jazeera television network, Hamill was shown in front of an Iraqi flag. A spokesman off camera demanded that U.S. troops end their siege of the city of Fallujah, where four American civilians were killed and mutilated last week.
"Our only demand is to remove the siege from the city of mosques," a spokesman said in a tape given to the Al-Jazeera television network. "If you don't respond within 12 hours ... he will be treated worse than those who were killed and burned in Fallujah."
Hamill was captured by gunmen who rocketed a fuel convoy on the road between Baghdad and Fallujah on Friday. He identified himself to a reporter for Australian television seconds before being whisked away in a car by gunmen.

Oh, ok. And you weren't killing and mutilating innocent civilians before all this started, right?
Can you say desperation????

It's high time to fight the "Chicago Way".
Dip the bullets in pigs' blood.
If the followers of the "religion of peace" want to desecrate the dead, let them know that the game can be played by both sides!!

This is not good...We cannot accept their demand and if they kill him revenge should be swift, without mercy and lay waste to the city of mosques.

Both the terrorists and the hostage are going to be quite disappointed if they expect us to reward the tactic of hostage-taking with concessions or ransom.

Should they do harm to this American they should be made to quiver with fear everytime they hear an airplane or even think of harming an American. Terminate them with quick and swift extreme prejudice.

He is dead already, they will just release the tape in 12 hours.
The death of his killers will follow some time in the future.

USA is going to learn to stay out of a war if they are not going to use overwhelming force. This is what I see here, the lack of will to use enough force to win a war, and one would think that only a fool would try that. We do need more troops, but please do not send one more soldier if American leaders are not going to do all it takes to win this war. There simply has to be enough force to overcome the enemy, this just has to be.
Do not send our troops to Iraq just to be slaughted by the Islamic terrorists, because we are not willing to strike beneath the belt. The terrorists know what it takes to win and they have no bounds, so at this point, the terrorists chances of winning are better, because our commanders are just "educated fools" hoping to fight a "sanitized" war.

(Go go Bush!! But don't turn your back on America with "immigrant amnesty")
A television image aired on an Arabic television station April 10, 2004 shows a U.S. hostage in front of an Iraqi flag who Qatar-based Al Jazeera television said identified himself as Thomas Hamill. His Iraqi kidnappers said in the tape they will kill the U.S. hostage they are holding unless U.S. forces lift the siege of Falluja. The Pentagon (news - web sites) had said on Friday several civilian contractors and two U.S. soldiers were missing after a military fuel convoy was ambushed on the main highway west of Baghdad. Someone remind me again about how civilized and refined Muslim sensibilities are supposed to be? ... because I feel like our forces are holed up in a shopping mall surrounded by leaping-grimacing-drooling-unreasoning flesh-eating zombies like in that horrid Dawn of the Dead remake.
... islam ... whatever. This so-called "Allah" must be some updated Mesopotamian fire-demon like Molech or Baal, an eater of souls and shriveler of hearts.

Sorry, but that's not the way it works. The unfortunate hostage is on his own. I hope we lay waste to this place. It's the only way we might hope to prevent future hostage situations.

if they kill him revenge should be swift, without mercy and lay waste to the city The revenge wasn't swift enough and was too merciful (letting Iraqis into Fallujah to provide "aid") when we saw charred Americans hanging from a bridge.
