Marines bomb Fallujah mosque

US marines pressing an offensive in this Iraqi town west of Baghdad bombed a mosque in the center of the town Wednesday and killed up to 40 insurgents inside, a marine officer said.

The attack came from a jet aircraft at a high angle to minimize the impact, the officer said.

"We wanted to kill the people inside," said Lieutenant Colonel Brennan Byrne.

Absolutely the right thing to do.

But we must be prepared for the Islamists to hit a Western church or temple. Perhaps a large and famous one. (Of course the Islamists have been planning to do this anyway, but now they will claim an eye-for-an-eye -- absurd as that is since we hide no terrorists or ammunition in our houses of worship).

Expect our media to play along with this idiotic notion and portray the Islamist bombing of a Western synogogue or church as a hit "in kind."

Oh God ... I saw part of that too. I never in my life. When Karen started talking about all the jobs created last month and then King interrupts and spews out ... well they were low paying jobs. It was disgusting. But Hughes is an excellent speaker and did well getting her message out.
