Cain would not only not change his stripes, he would immediately vault to the position of being one of the most conservative Senators, if not the most conservative Senator.
I like Mac Collins. Solid guy. Would win in November.
But if I had to choose, I'd rather have Cain.
My prediction is that with a win, Cain is at the top of the list for VP's in 2008. A mid-western/western Presidential candidate needs a souther counterweight.
I have not been excited about a candidate in a long time. Go Cain!
