Have mom and dad realized that Kerry is a total phony and they need to vote for Dubya?

While dad is doing well considering (he'll be 82 and was diagnosed with early Alzheimers)...he really has lost interest in politics...BUT he is still active and positive in daily life...doing a little golf, playing "souse chef" for mom...He won't drive anymore...but by choice.

Mom has kind of liked Kerry and saw some show on his wife and thought she is very cool. YIKES! I think some of her lifelong teacher friends (most never married and are lifelong diehard dems and think GWB is the devil personified) influence her thinking. She admits they are jaded in their thoughts...but she always qualified that with I am equally jaded the other way. So...I just won't talk politics with her anymore. Actually she kept asking my opinion of Teresa Heinz the other day....I said she sounded like a lovely person plus I love her catsup! (which I hate to admit I do....Hunts just doesn't make it for me....change really is hard :o)

I think when all is said and done she'll vote for GWB...especially after his outstanding performance today. WOW!!!!! Anyway...thanks for asking.
