My prayers are offered tonight for all our troops who are in harm's way and for the families who await their return. I think of all of the young children who are without a parent tonight, so that my children can be free.

I just want the troops and families to know that although I have no idea of the anxiety of a loved one being away at war,my heart is intertwined with yours -I await the news of our troops homecoming with great anticipation.

See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and his arm rules for him. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. Isaiah 40:10-11
