An interesting take on it.The same as the FNC Madrid reporter took.He caught himself somewhat when he said it was hoped this was "just",then he said "just" again to point out the ,I guess, irony of that or whatever, anyway, hoped it was "just internal".

No surprise - may still have used ETA logistical support.
On the other front - How many votes has Kerry now? Will he be able to survive until the Dem convention? He must be dead in the water now. "The terrorist threat is overestimated..." What a loon...

Well, anyone can make a tape claiming responsibility after the fact. Anyone can make a tape claiming to represent al-qaeda, for that matter.
But this is pointing islamoterrorism's way.
To: Crazieman
MSNBC has it on their breaking news ticker. No story yet though.

Yep, couldn't sleep that night, turned on tv, saw what happened saw the Brit journalist's claiming it was the Basques and they kept repeating that claim, nobody said Al Queda except for me to myself.

Reuters report...
Video...
MADRID - Spanish police have recovered a videotape claiming responsibility for the deadly Madrid rail bombings in the name of Islamic militant group al-Qaida, Interior Minister Angel Acebes said on Sunday.
"It's a claim made by a man in Arabic with a Moroccan accent. He makes the declaration in the name of someone who says he is the military spokesman of al-Qaida in Europe," he told reporters.

Can't be true. Everyone knows that anything to do with terrorism is just made up in Texas, by Vice-President Cheney.
