As I told Laura Ingraham on her radio show yesterday, I walked "point" for the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines in Viet Nam in 1969 and 1970 and I can say unequivocally that there were no "massive atrocities" against the Vietnamese by Marines. PERIOD! Kerry is a bald faced liar! I understand Kerry has "backed off" from those slanderous accusations since yesterday. Semper Fi, Kelly

And this is from a guy who in another article refers to Bush as a "Make-Believe President." The Dems are not going to be able to call it a right-wing attack on Kerry.

John Kerry must answer these questions, These are serious accusations and if even half of them are true, he deserves to be put in jail

Drugs were prevalent during the Vietnam War. Plus, drugs were prevalent during the protesters. What I would like to know is why no one has asked if Ketchup Kerry used drugs. Bubba Clintoon smoked but didn't inhale. Bubba was just a plain draft dodger. What about Ketchup? Since ole Ketchup Kerry prides himself on his medals and his Vietnam service plus his protesting days with Hanoi Jane, Ketchup, being on both sides of the fence where drugs were just for the asking, how could he have avoided partaking of coke, marijuana, heroin, uppers & downers to get his high? Did he in fact become an addict?

A Secret Service agent then working at the White House, John Syphrit, told committee staffers he had overheard part of a conversation about the Hanoi proposal for ransom. ..... four men were involved in that conversationReagan, Allen, Vice President George H.W. Bush, and CIA director William Casey. ....Department of Defense, which was supposed to be under examination. (Dick Cheney was then defense secretary.)
Kerry is certainly culpable.
But is anyone else bothered by the involvement (and apparent inaction) of Republicans like Reagan, Bush and Cheney???
Why weren't these guys raising a big stink over this????

The guy goes to Vietnam and slaughters innocent women and children in a free-fire zone -- an immature rich kid with a big gun. Wracked with guilt, he comes home and instead of taking responsibility for his actions, he blames everyone else - government, military, society, thus beginning the cover-up. By the time he has an opportunity to finally do something for his POW peers, his guilt pushes him away from them and toward the North Vietnamese whose families he had slaughtered - an appeasement of sorts. His votes against major military investments and reasonable intelligence programs continues his flight from the shameful actions he took in a war long ago. The man is pathetic.
