I can't say We Were Soldiers made me cry, but I spent most of the movie with a big smile of pride on my face ... all for our military ... and I remember repeating over and over throughout the movie "WOW!", and "I'm sure glad they went over instead of me" (By the way, I was 2 years old at the time ...)

Taking the wife to see Passion tonight at 7:00. Can't wait.

Pride, with sadness is how I felt. I served in the USAF 72-76 and didn't go to Viet Nam. But I know a lot of veterans who did. I thank them every chance I get.

The determination and courage of our soldiers throughout our history is truly an inspiration for this patriot. I have to hold back tears of pride when I sing the National Anthem.

.

Thank you all for caring and sharing with us your deep responses to your viewing "WE WERE SOLDIERS."

The "PASSION" Pre-view viewers' silence we see on TV as they leave their theaters mirrors precisely us "WE WERE SOLDIERS" Vets as we left that movie's Pre-views at Ft. Benning and San Diego.

GOD does indeed seem to work His Miracles in some very loving ways..?

That's one of the reasons why they went over, B, in
hopes us little ones wouldn't ever have to go.

So that would make you almost 4 now? We Were Soldiers was released in 2002.

...Now there's another "PASSION" out there that shows us the tremendous suffering and sacrifices the once Free People of South Vietnam had to endure after Freedom's loss in order just to live, or be killed, from one day to the next.

This after we ABANDONED them to their fate at the hands of invading Godless Communist Bullies from the North 30 years ago:

(Realistic scenes are from the new stunning Vietnamese-American "PASSION" Film titled... .."JOURNEY from the Fall")

"PASSION" = Suffering

"JOURNEY" = In Spades
