MAS Freedom Requests Meeting With Congressman Over Inflammatory Statements
MAS Freedom Foundation contacted Ms. Nicole Lango the scheduler for Congressman Peter T. King (R-NY) and requested an urgent meeting with the congressman concerning his inflammatory remarks on Sean Hannity's nationally syndicated radio program. (SEE: http://www.Hannity.com about Muslims and their Mosque).
Congressman King stated that 85% of mosques in America are ruled by extremists, "and I'll stand by that number of 85 percent. This is an enemy living amongst us."
In calling for the meeting, MAS Freedom Foundation Executive Director Mahdi Bray said, I think that it is critically important that congressman King meet with members of the Muslim community. It is obvious from his statements that he is greatly misinformed.
To quote sources like Emerson and Pipes, who have created a cottage industry out of bashing Muslims, certainly skews any objective critique he has of the Muslim Community.
It is my sincere hope that after he meets with us and talks with the Director of the Justice Departments Community Relations, Sherrie Freeman, and reads the Justice Department Inspector Generals Report on events post 9-11, that he will replace his inflammatory rhetoric with a sober dose of reality.
He owes our community an apology for such irresponsible statements. Whether he meets with us, or apologizes, it is another reason for our community to register to vote and vote on every election day to end this political madness," said Bray.

Yep. That's about the size of it. Finally a Congressman with the balls to call it as it is.
