b. It has recently been reported that Saddam Hussein has ordered Iraqi domestic businesses to show preference to German companies as a reward for Germany's "firm positive stand in rejecting the launching of a military attack against Iraq." It was also reported that over 101 German companies were present at the Baghdad Annual exposition.[9]

Remember the oil for food program? Ya think that this could lead to opposition to regime change? Who were those that wanted to lift the sanctions?

"why did the US government claim that Iraq has had WMD in Feb 2003??"

(1)You should ask your government the same question because they asserted the same thing along with almost every other nation in the free world.

(2) Everyone knows that they had and used them in the past.

(3) Iraq even admitted to having them.

(4) UNSCOM found and destroyed them in the 90's.

(5) Saddam's own (late) Sons-in-law spilled the beans on programs that the UN had no clue they had despite years and years of inspections.

"The sanctions didn´t work"

EXACTLY, thus regime change.

I don't have a problem with them being French as opposed to Europeans. What I do have a problem with is the arrogant attitude they bring to the table at all times. This isn't just the leadership. A French person who comes to the U.S. (and i've met at least 40 individuals) will criticize how bad the food is, how bad the people are dressed, how big the cars are, read nothing but black propaganda saying how blacks were oppressed, and talk about how much they love Michael Moore's B.S. When in reality, the only food they bother to eat is from Wal-Mart, the French themselves have the worst style for Europeans I have ever seen (socks w/sandals, long dresses on females but at the same time wearing black sneakers with black socks, grandmother bras while at the same time wearing G-strings), crappy t-shirts filled with Chinese script...this stuff just doesn't happen in the U.S. Then the next thing you know the Frenchie is trying to get a green card to stay in the U.S. just after talking about how France is the greatest place on Earth. Go figure.

Not to mention the French directly caused WW2 and Vietnam while right now ruining the great idea of a United Europe with centrist, secular, and quasi Socialist nonsense.

Don't get me wrong...I love France..Vive la France...but the Revolution completely ruined what they had going...which was the most powerful nation in the world. Hopefully they'll see the light one day.

As for my German roomate - I love him, we're best friends, we think the same, couldn't ask for a better friend or roomate.
