I agree with you - they must be U.S. citizens to join the regular Army, but I think it is high time to start an American foreign legion.

America has had a foreign legion for 60+ years fighting in every war from WW2 to Vietnam to Korea to Gulf 1 & 2.It's called Britain,Australia(and up until recently included Canada.)
