He's racked up 80 million album sales in his solo career,...His music still sucks.

I dont have to rent it, I own it. Plus, the imported CD of Three Sides Live has been played more in my home than any other recording except Frampton Comes Alive. Total agreement on Banks too.

Tony Banks is amazing on the keys...You said it, the solo on "Riding the Scree" still gives my goosebumps.

am thinking of 'Dance on the Volcano'Listening to it right this second.
Remember.
You don't look back, whatever you do.
Better start doing it right.

"For Absent Friends" from Nursery Cryme was the first.
To: 11th Earl of Mar
Even better was "Seconds Out" with Bill Bruford.

Meanwhile the attacker was charged with "robbery, assault and battery." Good thing it wasn't an "attack of the giant hogweed"

The latest figures show that a Londoner is mugged about every nine minutes. I'll bet he wishes they'd pick on someone else once in a while.
To: uglybiker
His music still sucks. I agree. "I Know What I Like", and it isn't Phil. Peter is much better (though his politics really s*ck)

I bet Rael did it.

Is this the same Phil Collins who wrote a song about homelessness (Another Day in Paradise) and then proceeded to kick a bunch of squatters off of land he co-owned with the rest of Genesis?
To: dfwgator
I bet Rael did it. Or his brother John.

I'd have to agree with you on "Seconds Out" being the better live album, but I believe that Bruford only played on one or two of the songs on the album.

The term "Rock Star" is a stretch here....Doncha just luv when the devoted fans of these pop mediocrities show up to inform us ignoramuses of the exact numbers of disks or tickets otr T-shirts sold as the ultimate proofs of their heroes godlike status?!
Incidentally, do you know any dumb drummer jokes?
Chet Baker once said: "A good drummer is better than no drummer at all!"

Operation Cratchet is a major initiative targeting robbers, pickpockets, bag snatchers and shoplifters. Wrong Dickens. Shouldn't it be "Operation Artful Dodger"?

Although I am partial to the Gabriel-era myself, Trick and Wind (and Spot the Pigeon) are still some of my favorites.
I think Genesis really deteriorated more after Hackett left, for he was the buffer that kept Genesis from moving more in the pop direction. With him gone, the move to sappy pop was inevitable (although Duke did had some good moments on it).

Geez. Everyone's given up already. Don't tell me "supper's ready". It's still early.
